Frequently Asked Questions

Where do you bake?

I bake in a shared commercial kitchen outside of Chicago. It is inspected by the local health department, and I have all certifications required to work in a commercial kitchen.

How much notice do you need for a custom cookie order?

While this depends on how busy I am, I recommend reaching out at least two weeks before you’d like cookies. I can’t guarantee that I will have availability, but the earlier you reach out, the more likely I will be able to accept your order. During the holidays, I recommend six weeks before your event in order for me to be able to accommodate any requests during this very busy season.

What is your price for custom cookies?

Custom cookies start at $50 per dozen with a minimum of two dozen. Depending on the complexity, some orders may cost more. I aim to be very open when we talk about the cost based on each request.

Why do custom cookies cost so much?

To start, I use the best ingredients to bake my cookies so you get the best product, but custom cookies require a lot more than just baking and decorating cookies. Each custom order takes me time to design based on each customer’s request, and often times, I also have to purchase new cookie cutters for custom orders and spend a few hours working out designs.

Do you do rush orders?

Short answer is yes, if possible. While I do recommend at least two weeks notice, I may have some space so feel free to email me and see. Cookie orders have to be at least 3 day before expected deliver/pickup date because it takes 8-12 hours for the icing to dry. Many cookies also require multiple layers of icing, so less than 3 days, it is unlikely I will be able to get you cookies completed. I do charge an extra $10 per dozen for rush order cookies.

Do you deliver?

Yes, I definitely will deliver since my kitchen is a little ways out in the suburbs. If you on the north side Chicago, delivery is free. If you are outside this area, I charge $10 to cover my gas.
